The Philippine National Police (PNP) has officially opened today, June 13 the annual National Headquarters-National Supporting Units (NHQ-NSUs) Sportsfest ‘Siglakasan’ 2017 at Camp Crame, Quezon City.
PNP Chief, Police Director General Ronald “Bato” M. Dela Rosa graced the annual sportsfest and gave an inspiring message to all the participants composed of PNP uniformed and non-uniformed personnel.
“The PNP leadership prioritizes the enhancement of the morale and welfare of our personnel knowing that our police athletes will enjoy their respective sports events, and at the same time improve their physical wellbeing,” Dela Rosa said.
He also emphasized the essence of the Siglakasan 2017 as part of the organization’s physical fitness and sports development program.
The PNP Chief urged all PNP athletes to strive to go faster, higher, and stronger in their chosen sports but remain committed and resolved to respond more effectively to their duties as police officers.
All the participating athletes pledged their firm cooperation and full commitment for abiding the rules of the games, giving respect to the game officials, and acting as epitomes of true sportsmanship. (PNP-PIO)
