Government House, Bangkok, Thailand (DWDD) – Thailand Prime Minister General Prayuth Chan-o-cha officially received President Rodrigo Duterte and the Philippine delegation with a ceremony at the grounds of the Government House in Bangkok.
Thai Acting Chief of Protocol Chakri Shrichawana and Philippine Presidential Protocol Officer-in-Charge Robert Borje introduced each country’s dignitaries to both leaders before they proceeded to the Thai Koo Fah Building for a photo opportunity.
Before the four-eye meeting and the plenary meeting of the leaders, President Duterte signed the government guestbook and viewed the gifts displayed from both sides of the Outer Ivory Room in the Government House.
The President is in Thailand for an official visit that aims to renew the Philippines’ commitment to further strengthen defense relations and cooperation on trade and investment, education, and tourism among others. RTVM / MCAG
