CAMP RAFAEL CRAME, Quezon City (DWDD) – The suspect behind the murder of a police officer in Antipolo, Rizal fell in the hands of authorities.
The suspect, identified as Crispin Pormal Baquiran, of legal age, married, a resident of Chico Street, Purok Sumulong, Baranggay Dela Paz, Antipolo City, was presented to media by PNP Chief Director General Oscar Albayalde and Region 4-A Director P / Chief Supt Gullermo Eleazar.
According to PCSupt Eleazar, two-days after the killings, investigators were able to arrest the suspect in his hideout at San Isidro, Antipolo City yeesterday.
It can be recalled that the victim policeman PO3Don Carlo DC Mangui was just outside his residence and having a conversation with his friend when he was fired upon by the suspect from behind that caused his instantaneous death.
After the shooting, the suspect immediately left the crime scene heading towards Padilla, where he crossed path with another victim identified as Christ Talosig Baquiran whom he shot in the chest and is now recuperating in an undisclosed medical facility.
