BIDDING  |  North-South Commuter Railway Project

QUEZON CITY, Metro Manila (DWDD) – The Department of Transportation (DOTr) has already opened the bidding for the construction contract for the North-South Commuter Railway (NSCR) project.

NSCR (PNR North Phase 1) is a 37.9-km line from Malolos to Tutuban, which aims to cut travel time from one hour and 30 minutes to 35 minutes. Targeted for completion by December 2021, it can accommodate to more than 300,000 passengers daily.

The NSCR will be connected to PNR North Phase 2, which will run to Clark International Airport and New Clark City while PNR South Commuter will extend to Los Baños, Laguna. DOTr / MCAG
