MANILA (DWDD) – I-ACT reported the following apprehensions, in line with the conduct of Project HOPE (Honest, Orderly, Peaceful Elections) today, 14 May 2018:
Two (2) jeepneys carrying “voters” from Brgy. Bagombong, Caloocan City to a barangay in Quezon City; One (1) out-of-line jeepney (MCU-Divisoria) carrying passengers who paid P100 each for a back-and-forth service; and a jeepney using “COMELEC SV 239 – Bagombong ES” signage even without a permit from the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) to use such signage.
i-ACT operated all throughout the day to apprehend operators and drivers who are using their PUV’s to ferry voters, who are outside the line of their franchise, more so, if they carry flying voters. IACT / DOTr / MCAG
