CAMP RAFAEL CRAME, Quezon City (DWDD) – 9 of the 11 police personnel who bashed PNP Chief Director General Oscar Albayalde on Facebook reported this morning to the Chief PNP.
The 11 police personnel reportedly hurled unsavory words against the Chief PNP in the Facebook page “Buhay Lespu”, when PDG Albayalde was in the heat of conducting surprise inspections on various Metro Manila Police stations when he was head of the National Capital Ragion Police Office (NCRPO).
The concerned police personnel reported to the Office of the Directorate for Investigation and Detection Management at Camp Rafael Crame and personally faced PDG Albayalde who lectured them that they should follow rules and regulations implemented under the PNP.
He reminded them that they belong to an organization that has strict regulations, and if they would insist that what they did was part of their ”freedom of expression,” they should leave the service.
The 9 police personnel could face administrative cases related to “insubordination” and “conduct unbecoming” while the two who failed to report could face an additional charge of “disobedience.”
Most of those involved have the rank of Police Officer 1, while one officer who not show up has a rank of Senior Inspector and belongs to PNP Class of 2009. If the said officer would still fail to report to his unit, he would be declared Absent without Leave (AWOL). AES / ALS
