COURTESY CALL  |  Commander of 2 RAN ships visits NETC

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales (DWDD) – Two Royal Australian Navy (RAN) skippers paid courtesy call to the Commander, Naval Education and Training Command (NETC), Rear Admiral Allan Ferdinand V Cusi AFP.

Cmdr Michael Devine, Commanding Officer of HMAS Anzac and Cmdr Grant Zilko, skipper of HMAS Success with Assistant DAFA of Australia to the Philippines, Lt Col Gideon Scrimgeour were formally received by CNETC on April 12,  2018 at NETC, San Antonio, Zambales.

This was followed by a goodwill games between the two navies. Sports such as basketball, volleyball and soccer games were played both by PN and RAN personnel. It was culminated through a simple boodle fight at NETC Mess Hall.

The visit aims to further strengthens the relationship between the two navies and fortifies the PN’s firm commitment of maintaining good relationship with other navies. NETC / MCAG
