Boao State Guesthouse, Boao, China (DWDD) – After their bilateral meeting, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and Chinese President Xi Jin Ping witnessed the signing of agreements between the Governments of the Republic of the Philippines and the People’s Republic of China at the Boao State Guesthouse in Boao Town, Hainan Province.
Department of Finance (DOF) Secretary Carlos Dominguez III served as the Philippine signatory to the following agreements – Agreement on Economic and Technical Cooperation, Exchange of Letters on the Phase III of Technical Cooperation Project for the Agricultural Technology Center of the Philippines, and the Preferential Buyer Credit Loan Agreement for the Chico River Pump Irrigation Project between the Republic of the Philippines as Borrower and The Export-Import Bank of China as Lender.
Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Mark Villar signed the Exchange of Letters for the Pre-Feasibility Study of the proposed Davao City Expressway Project while Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Secretary Jose Ruperto Martin Andanar signed the Exchange of Letters on Providing a Batch of Broadcasting Equipment to the PCOO.
Lastly, Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Secretary Silvestre Bello III signed the Memorandum of Understanding on the Employment of Filipino Teachers of English Language in China. RTVM / MCAG
