MAWAB, Compostela Valley (DWDD) – Colonel Anthony B Purugganan, the Assistant Division Commander for Reservist and Retirees Affairs (ADC, RRA), 10th Infantry (Agila) Division, Philippine Army donned the ranks of eleven (11) meritoriously promoted enlisted personnel and welcomed the fifteen newly assigned officer at 10th Infantry Division during the flag raising ceremony held Monday, January 8, 2018 at Headquarters 10th Infantry (Agila) Division, Philippine Army, Brgy Tuboran, Mawab, Compostela Valley Province. as a military tradition, the newly assigned officers introduced themselves. Later, Col Manuel V Sequitin, Chief of Staff of the 10ID presided the Oath-Taking Ceremony of three newly hired civilian employees of the command.
In the message of Commander 10ID, Major General Noel S Clement, delivered by Colonel Anthony Purugganan, ADC for RRA, 10ID. “A while ago, we witnessed the pinning of ranks to our courageous enlisted personnel who received meritorious promotion for their significant accomplishments on the ground. Their will and determination to defeat insurgents and win the peace in our area of responsibility brought recognition not only to themselves but further to our division. I hope their gallantry will serve as an inspiration to all Agila troopers especially to our newly assigned officers present this morning. There are more gallant stories of Agila Troopers that you should hear, evident that the men and women of team Agila are passionate to its mission in serving the people and securing the land.
To the newly promoted enlisted personnel, I hope that your determination and passion for service will not end today. May this promotion serve as motivation in your future mission; continue to keenly serve the people and win our mission. Be an inspiration to your juniors, batchmates, and even to your senior enlisted personnel and officers. You received this kind of promotion because of your gallantry and desire to achieve our mission, and because of the proper coordination and cooperation with your co-enlisted personnel. Thus, keep your feet on the ground and continue to work hand-in-hand with them. Always remember that we are doing things not for competition, we are doing things to serve the Filipino people and our country.
