SUPPORT OUR TROOPS  |  LRT-2 Offers Soldiers with Free Ride

LRTA DEPOT, Pasig, Manila (DWDD) – Soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines can now avail of FREE ride on the Light Rail Transit 2 (Purple Line).

A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed between LRT Administrator Reynaldo Berroya and MGen Ronnie S. Evangelista, Commander, Civil Relations Service AFP, that gives our Men and Women in Uniform Free Access to one of Metro Manila Light Rail Transit.

According to Adm Berroya, the initative is in recognitionof the major contribution and sacrifices of our soldiers and the heroism they showed in the liberation of Marawi City.

On the part of the AFP, MGen Evangelista expressed the heartfelt gratitude of the AFP on this recognition and support from different sectors of society.

It can be recalled that the LRT administration initially opened its doors to members of the Philippine National Police in assistance to their anti-crime campaign and also provide security to all passengers of LRT and its facilities. AES
