PALIMBANG, Sultan Kudarat (DWDD) – Members of Marine Battalion Landing Team – 6 returned to Sitio Malalag, Barangay Mina, Palimbang, Sultan Kudarat to provide rice assistance after they conducted operations in the area resulting to the successful raid on the lair of extortionist Tominis Sankilan Maulana alias Nit.
Members of the 6th Marine Company, led by 1Lt Chrismo Gittabao, returned to Sitio Malalag to show their appreciation on their cooperation and to assure their safety and security after their encounter with
the group of Maulana that led to the recovery of firearms and subversive documents.
According to 1Lt Gittabao, their effort is an assurance to residents that their government is looking after their welfare and will never allow illegal activities to reign in their community. It is also a way of thanking those residents who bravely assisted them in locating the hideout of Maulana. He added that rest assured that their Marines will not tire out in scouring every barangay, jungle and mountain to maintain the peace and prosperity of Palimbang.
Gittabao added that they will continue with their security patrols in the area so that residents will always feel secured.
