VIGILANCE  |  PNP maintains Heightened Alert for ASEAN and Holidays   

CAMP CRAME, Quezon City (DWDD) – “Let me thank and congratulate the PNP members for ensuring Peace and Order during the commemoration of All Souls and All Saints Day nationwide last week.

This was part of the statement made by PNP Chief Director General Ronald Dela Rosa, where he specially commended those deployed in transport terminals and in the vicinities of cemeteries for making sure that our countrymen were able to go to provinces and pay their respects to their dearly departed without the fear of crime or violence in their hearts.

Dela Rosa added that once more they have proven that with hard work and vigilance and with the support of the community they can always successfully keep the peace.

If you observed there was No significant event that occurred during Undas because of our maximum deployment.

He reiterated that even during the celebration of Christmas and New Year, they will maintain Full Alert status.

Sa Christmas Eve dapat 5am to 5pm; December 24, up to 5am; December 25 up to 5pm; December 31 up to 5 am, January 1 lahat tayo ay magtatrabaho. Lahat tayo magduduty. Kung gusto mag-spend sa probinsiya report to the nearest police station and be accounted and be deployed sa mga areas wherein talamak ang indiscriminate firing para maiwasan ang gunrelated deaths and Injuries.”

 In regards the upcoming ASEAN Summit, the PNP will be fielding thousands of personnel to various venues of the summit and in vital installations to ensure the safety and security of the citizens, delegates, media and other participants:

Dela Rosa added that they have fielded enough personnel for ASEAN but if needed they can pul personnel from the RSSF or the Reserved Standby Security Force.

Full Alert status from November 8 to 15. Seven days na walang uwian. We will be deployed sa EDSA. Walang exempted and ready to be deployed.AES
