Severe Tropical Storm Paolo
PAGASA SCIENCE GARDEN, Quezon City (DWDD) – “PAOLO” has slightly intensified as it continues to move over the Philippine Sea.
Estimated rainfall amount is from moderate to heavy within the 450 km diameter of the Severe Tropical Storm.
“PAOLO” may intensify into a Typhoon in the next 24 to 36 hours.
The outer rainbands of “PAOLO” may bring scattered light to moderate with possible occasional heavy rains over Bicol Region, Visayas and Mindanao.
Meanwhile, at 10:00 PM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 200 km West Northwest of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan (10.9°N, 117.1°E). This weather system will bring scattered light to moderate with possible occasional heavy rains over Palawan.
Moderate to rough seas expected over the eastern seaboard of Southern Luzon, of Visayas and of Mindanao.
