SERIOUS NEGLECT OF DUTY  |  Narco-Generals relieved from the PNP

CAMP RAFAEL CRAME, Quezon City (DWDD) – The Philippine National Police is awaiting the Implementing Orders from the PNP-Directorate for Personnel and Records Management for the relief from service of two named Narco-Generals.

According to PNP-Spokesperson C Supt Dionardo Carlos, they are just waiting for the formal documents to formally relieve from the service former NCRPO Chief Police Director Joel Pagdilao ang former Quezon City Director C Supt Edgado Tinio.

The two police officers are among those named by President Rodrigo Duterte as Narco-Generals in his Drug Matrix.

PNP Chief Police Director General Ronald Bato Dela Rosa explained that the relief of thwe two PNP officers underwent due process and that is why it took them a year to process the case.

Dela Rosa added that it took six months after the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) submitted the recommendation to President Duterte for the relief of the two officers, that the Chief Executive studied carefully.

Tinio and Pagdilao are facing Administrative Cases for Serious Neglect of Duty, where aside from dismissal from the service, they also forfeit all of their benefits and privileges.

Aside from the Administrative Case, the two are also facing Criminal proceedings because of their involvement in illegal drugs. AES/ALS
