MANILA (DWDD) – Authorities believe that the re-surfacing and revelations of taxi driver Tomas Bagcal provides major development on what transpired on August 18, when members of the PNP-Caloocan allegedly neutralized “hold-up suspect” Carl Angelo Arnaiz.
This according to PNP spokesperson Police Chief Superintendent Dionardo Carlos who said that Bagcal admittedly believes that the killing of Arnaiz was “scripted because he never executed any affidavit during and after that fateful day and that the victim was still alive when he turned him over to the Caloocan police station, contrary to what authorities were stating.
Carlos added that they welcome this latest developmnt and they can use this in filing charges against the perpetrators who were involved in the killing of Arnaiz.
They also believe that the testimony would shed more light on the case and may also be used in court to confirm if some Caloocan policemen had plans to cover-up the incident with the surfacing of two (2) affidavits allegedly from Bagcal. AES / ALS
