NPA CONTINUOSLY VIOLATES CARHRIHL, BURNED HEAVY EQUIPMENT IN SURIGAO

terrorism-npa-photo SURIGAO – NPA local terrorists gravely violated the Comprehensive Agreement on Respect to Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law (CARHRIHL), recklessly fired upon a civilian property and burned three (3) equipments (1 unit Back hoe, 1 Forklift, and 1 multicab) owned by Mamsar Industrial Corporation at Sitio Bioborjan, Brgy Rizal, Surigao City which created fear to the workers and residents in the area this morning,  10am of July 18 2017.
“These Communists Terrorists have deliberately attacking civilians disregarding the CARHIRIHL everytime. It is clear at Section 4, Article 4 of the CARHRIHL states that civilian population together with their property shall not be the object of attack.” Second Lieutenant Castillo, CMO Officer said.
“According to the agreement, civilians should always be treated humanely and shall likewise be protected against arson, strafing, and other similar forms of destroying lives and property.” Castillo added.
It can be recalled that the CARHRIHL was agreed upon and was signed by GPH and NDFP on 16 March 1998 in The Hague, The Netherlands.
“We will continue supporting our Local PNP in the enforcement of the laq in order to maintain peace and security in Surigao. It is our responsibility to protect the Surigaonons against criminals and terrorists which the NPA bandits are considered proven by their unlawful acts” Lieutenant Colonel Allen Tomas said.
Lieutenant Colonel Tomas ordered his troops to conduct pursuit operations and security operations in order to apprehend those NPA terrorists.
