Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City – Oplan Taphang launched in Camp Aguinaldo hosted by PCSUPT Guillermo Lorenzo T. Eleazar District Director of Quezon City Police District on Monday.
The said conference tackles the Current Drug Situation in Quezon City and was launched due to city’s current situation in drug involvement. This also includes Update on PNP’s Anti-Drug Campaign Plan: Project “Double Barrel”, Significant Accomplishments, Current Crime Situations and BRGY. Drug Clearing Programs.
“Taphang” covers a wide area of Quezon City including La Loma,
that according to the records of the police, has the most “Moderate” presence of suspected pushers.
Meanwhile, the least was Eastwood which had two (2) “Slight” presence of suspected users.
The current tally used Slight as presence of suspected users, Moderate as Presence of suspected pushers, Serious as Presence of DenLab, (Drug Den or Drug Laboratory) Dive Resort.
The consultative seminar were called upon by barangay officials with Eleazar presenting the city’s antidrug programs.
Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte and Councilor Gian Carlo Sotto were also present. Students from Camp Aguinaldo were also present together with other news agencies. – DNS/ EPJA
