WEATHER OUTLOOK | Philippines January 6, 2017

jan-06-sea-pressure jan-06MANILA (DWDD) – AT 4:00 AM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on available data at 610 KM East of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur (7.7°N, 131.8°E). Northeast Monsoon affecting Luzon and Visayas.

According to PAGASA, cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms will be experienced over Mindanao. Cloudy skies with light rains is expected over regions of Cagayan Valley, Cordillera, Bicol, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Eastern Visayas and the province of Aurora. Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will be experienced over Metro Manila the rest of the country.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Luzon and Visayas. The coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the Northeast to North with slight to moderate seas.
