Camp Crame, Quezon City — PNP Chief PDG Ronald M Dela Rosa has relieved two (2) Pasig cops who fell short of expectations during a shooting incident in Pasig on November 11, 2016.
Through the PNP Directorate for Personnel and Records Management (DPRM) Special Orders Number 9682, PO1 Herrminio D Manalastas and PO1 Jayson S Riego were relieved from their post in the National Capital Region Police Office and were reassigned to PNP Special Action Force effective November 24, 2016.
According to PNP Spokesperson and Acting Chief PNP Public Information Office, PSSupt Dionardo B Carlos, the two policemen were recommended to undergo PNP SAF Commando Training, which include law enforcement and military operations course.
We have this sworn duty to serve and protect and we have to be more dedicated because it is our mandated task.” said PSSupt Carlos.
“As what our Chief PNP always say, we want them to adapt a warrior culture. Carlos added.(PNP-PIO)
