WEATHER OUTLOOK | Philippines November 18, 2016

nov-18MANILA (DWDD) – At 4:00 AM today, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 655 km East Southeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur (6.0°N, 131.8°E).

According to PAGASA, cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms which may trigger flashfloods and landslides is expected over the regions of Eastern Visayas, Bicol, Caraga and the province of Quezon.

Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila, MIMAROPA, the rest of Visayas, the rest of CALABARZON, Davao region, Northern Mindanao, Zamboanga Peninsula and the provinces of Aurora, Bulacan and Nueva Ecija.

Cloudy skies with light rains is expected over the region of Cagayan Valley. Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will be experienced over the rest of Luzon.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms is expected over the rest of Mindanao.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over northern and central Luzon and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the east to northeast with slight to moderate seas.
