Capas, Tarlac – The Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), Philippine Army under Brig. Gen. Herminigildo Francisco C. Aquino honors Philippine Army Vice Commander Maj. Gen. Edmundo Pangilinan through a testimonial parade and review at TRADOC Grandstand, Camp O’Donnell, Capas, Tarlac Saturday morning. The traditional military honor is in connection with the mandatory retirement of Maj. Gen. Pangilinan comes November 13, 2016.
Maj. Gen. Pangilinan was accorded with arrival honors at TRADOC headquarters. Likewise, a wreath laying was conducted at Capas National Shrine prior his arrival at Camp O’Donnell.
Part of the program is the presentation of command and honors, inspection of troops and the honors to the nation. Moreover, the officer candidates of the Officer Candidate School presented silent drill as part of the entertainment.
Maj. Gen. Pangilinan commended the TRADOC officers and men led by Brig. Gen. Aquino for the warmest welcome and honors accorded to him. He congratulated Brig. Gen. Aquino for leading TRADOC towards excellence.
MGen. Pangilinan was former Commander of 6th Infantry Division, Philippine Army based in Camp Siongko, Awang, Maguindanao prior his post as Vice Commander, Philippine Army in Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila.
